About House Services 24/7
A repair company built around one appliance that cannot wait until Monday, and around a phone that gets answered when it rings.
Call dispatch, any hour (669) 338-4601 Someone picks up at any hour. Same-day slots open and close through the day, so the dispatcher will tell you what is actually free when you call.
Arrival · the visit starts by reading the unit, not by quoting it
An independent shop, not a call centre
House Services 24/7 is an independent appliance repair company working across the Bay Area, with the South Bay as the centre of gravity. The work is built-in refrigeration: Sub-Zero first, and the Wolf and Cove equipment that tends to sit in the same kitchens.
The name is a statement about the phone. Built-in refrigeration is the one appliance in a house where a failure has a clock on it — a full freezer, a warm cabinet, and a decision to make about the food. So the dispatch line is answered around the clock by someone who can see the schedule and tell you what is genuinely open.
What that does not mean is a promise that a van is idling nearby at any hour. If the earliest realistic slot in your leg of the Bay is tomorrow morning, you will hear that on the call. It is a worse sentence to say and a better one to hear.
Four things we hold to
-
Measure before replacing
Airflow, then defrost, then electrical, then the sealed system. Cheapest and most likely first. Parts get fitted because a measurement says so, not because the symptom is roughly the right shape.
-
One published number
$89 for the visit and the diagnosis, credited against the repair. Nothing else is published, because nothing else can be honestly published before anyone has looked at your unit.
-
Genuine parts
We fit genuine OEM Sub-Zero parts. Compressors, evaporator fans, control boards and gaskets come from the manufacturer, not a pattern-part bin.
-
Say when it is not worth it
A leak inside a foamed cabinet wall is not repairable in any way that lasts. You will hear that, with the reasoning, rather than be sold the attempt.
Bay Area wide, South Bay first
The route covers five legs — South Bay, Peninsula, East Bay, San Francisco and the North Bay — 61 cities in total. Vans are staged around the South Bay because that is where the density of built-in Sub-Zero installations is highest, so that is usually the leg where a same-day slot opens first.
The service call is the same everywhere on that map. There is no mileage line and no out-of-area surcharge. The full city list is here, and if yours is not on it, ask on the phone rather than assuming.
How to reach us — the phone and an online booking link, and nothing else. There is no contact form on this site and no email address, deliberately. A fridge at fifty degrees is not an email.
Fair questions
Are you connected to Sub-Zero?
No. We are an independent repair company. We fit genuine OEM parts and we work on this equipment every day, but we do not act for the manufacturer and we do not describe ourselves as anything we are not.
Why specialise in built-in refrigeration?
Because it is the appliance that cannot wait, and because the diagnosis is genuinely different from a freestanding fridge. Sealed systems, defrost circuits and cabinet airflow are their own skill set, and a generalist rarely has the parts or the gauges for it.
What does the 24/7 in the name mean in practice?
The phone is answered at any hour by a person who can see the schedule. It does not mean a van is always free at three in the morning, and the dispatcher will tell you what is actually open rather than promise a slot that is not.
Tell the dispatcher the model number and what it is doing
It is stamped on a plate inside the fresh-food compartment, usually on the upper left wall or behind the top grille. With the model in hand the van gets loaded with the parts that unit actually fails on, which is the difference between one visit and two.
