Where we go across the Bay Area

One dispatch line, one service call fee, the whole region. The South Bay is where the route starts and where a same-day slot usually opens first.

Check your city — call dispatch (669) 338-4601 Someone picks up at any hour. Same-day slots open and close through the day, so the dispatcher will tell you what is actually free when you call.

The densest leg and where most of the built-in Sub-Zero work sits. Vans are staged around the 280/880 corridor, so this is usually the first area a same-day slot opens in.

They cover the whole South Bay and it showed. I called on a Sunday, got a real person, and had a slot the next morning without any of the usual runaround.

Third-floor flat with no lift and they still took the job. Tech carried the panel out to the landing to work on it rather than filling my kitchen with parts.

Booked online at eleven at night and someone still rang me back to confirm. The tech turned up with the model number already looked up and the likely parts on board.

08 Questions Coverage

Coverage questions

My city is not listed. Do you still come?

Ask. The lists here are the cities we work in regularly, not a boundary fence. Coverage on any given day depends on what is already on the route, and the dispatcher can tell you immediately.

Does it cost more if I am further out?

No. $89 is the service call anywhere we cover, and it is waived when you book the repair. There is no mileage line.

Which area gets seen soonest?

Usually the South Bay, because that is where the vans are staged and where the density of built-in Sub-Zero work is highest. North Bay bookings across the bridge tend to be scheduled a little further out, and you will be told that when you book.

Tell the dispatcher the model number and what it is doing

It is stamped on a plate inside the fresh-food compartment, usually on the upper left wall or behind the top grille. With the model in hand the van gets loaded with the parts that unit actually fails on, which is the difference between one visit and two.
